About

Three founders, all of us operators and engineers. Cortexia exists because we kept watching good companies fail to remember what they already knew.

Our story

Cortexia started from a complaint. Between us we had spent years running operations inside companies that had bought every system on the market and still could not answer basic questions about themselves: what did we decide, why, and did it work.

The tooling was never the problem. The ledger was accurate. The CRM was tidy. What was missing was anything that held the whole picture and could act on it, and so that job kept falling to a small number of experienced people who carried the company's reasoning in their heads.

We built Cortexia to make that reasoning explicit, durable, and executable, so that a company's judgment is a property of the organisation rather than of whoever happens to still be working there.

Values

These are not posters. They are the arguments we have already had internally, written down so we do not have to have them again.

  • 01

    Legible over clever

A decision nobody can audit is worthless in an operational setting, however good it was. If we cannot explain why the system did something, we treat that as a defect and not a tradeoff.

  • 02

    The gate is sacred

We build the mechanism that lets a company say no, and we refuse to erode it for the sake of a smoother demo. Autonomy is something a customer grants deliberately, never something we assume.

  • 03

    Reversible by construction

Errors are inevitable; expensive errors are a design failure. Everything the system does carries a path back, because the cost of a mistake is dominated by how hard it is to unwind.

  • 04

    Operators, not observers

We are built by people who have run finance closes, procurement functions, and shared service centres. The product reflects what that work actually feels like on a Tuesday afternoon.

Team

Deliberately small. All three of us have been on the receiving end of a badly automated process.
